Martin Gitau
President and Founder
Martin Gitau is an International Trade and Development Consultant. He is an admitted Advocate of the High Court of Kenya who holds: a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International Trade Law from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa; a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law; a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons) from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Kenya; and a couple of certificates in international trade and development matters from the ITC SME Trade Academy, Switzerland, the Trade Law Centre (Tralac), South Africa and NUS Centre for International Law, Singapore.
Antony Muchene Kamau
International Trade Consultant
Antony Muchene Kamau is a distinguished expert in international trade policy, customs, and trade facilitation, with over a decade of experience. His career is marked by significant contributions to the implementation and automation of the Single Window System (SWS), a pivotal tool in streamlining international trade processes. Antony holds a Master of Laws in International Trade Law from the University of Turin and an MBA in Finance from the University of Nairobi, providing him with a solid academic foundation.
As a Senior Trade Analyst at the Kenya Trade Network Agency (KenTrade), Antony has played a central role in the design, implementation, and management of the SWS, ensuring seamless integration with customs, trade regulation bodies, and private sector entities. His work has been instrumental in automating trade processes, enhancing compliance, and facilitating efficient trade operations in Kenya.
In addition to his work at KenTrade, Antony has provided consultancy services to the Indian Ocean Commission, where he conducted a comprehensive study on the implementation of a Maritime Single Window System (SWS) in the South West Indian Ocean region. His expertise in trade automation and customs procedures has also been utilized in advisory roles at organizations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the Africa Center for Strategy and Policy.
Antony's specialization in customs, trade facilitation, and automation, combined with his extensive experience in international trade law and policy, makes him a highly sought-after consultant in the field of international trade.
